  1. Not to good, they have a good defensive core, but scoring goals in a defensive based system is going to be tough. Gaborik is the only real goal scorer left on the team, although brunette is good as well as nolan, they are nothing compared to Rolston and Demitra.  They might make the playoffs, might not, luckily they have a weak division, unluckily, they have 2 of the best goalies in their division(Luongo, Kipper) which is not going to help them score

  2. they wont make the playoffs, they've gotten worse while every other team in the division has gotten better

  3. i agree with the guy abouve me

  4. Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver have gotten stronger, which will increase the pressure on the Wild, as will the losses of Demitra and Rolston.

Having said that, they've added Brunette, Nolan, Miettinen, Bergeron, and Zidlicky, and are one of the best coached and organized teams in the league.  They also have some good young guys who could step up in Sheppard and Pouliot, and Brett Burns is turning into a force.  I predict they'll squeeze into the playoffs.

  5. I think they will do be about the same as last year.

I know everyone is talking about the losses of Rolston and Demitra.  But I think Rolston was the only real loss. Pavel really didnt do much last season.

Signing Brunette was huge. He already knows the style of the Wild and it suits him well.  Zidlicky will add some offense to the defence.  Nolan, althrough past his prime, will add toughnesss and reek havoc in front of the net.

Burns is well on his way to becoming one of the leagues best defenders. Shultzie has been solid for years.  Foster was having a pretty good year until he broke his leg. The defense will be fine. One of the best in the league.

They just re-signed Bouchard who is turning into one of the best set up players in the league. With him and Brunette and means more goals for Gaborik.  Mikko Koivu will have a break out year. Oh yes. I said it! Have you seen this guy? Some of the best hands out there! 70 or more pionts from him this year! Pouliot I think will raise some eyebrows. He came up at the end of last year and did very well. With more playing time I think he'll just get better.  Same goes for Shepp.

If Backstrom can play the way he did his rookie year, the Wild will be getting 2 points none stop! Harding is still learning but I also think hes getting better and is a solid back-up.

The only downfall of this team is MARTIN SKOULA! WHY LORD?!?! WHY?!?! WHY IS SKOULA STILL ON THE TEAM?!?! Its beyond me!
