How do you think the tree with red leaves gets its food?

some trees have red leaves all year long.you know that plants with green leaves make food for themselves so how do you think trees with red leaves get its food?

  1. Even trees with red leaves have chlorophyll in their leaves for photosynthesis.  The red just makes it so that the chlorophyll isn't as easy to see.  These trees are making their food by photosynthesis just like other trees do.


  2. I'd say from photosynthesis, maybe the red leaves are because of the season, not the food source, then again i may have no idea what i'm talking about
