Human will be long gone by then. I think we will overcome all tangible events like overpopluation and pollution. I think a outer space object will hit the earth and make the living conditions here so difficult that humans can not adapt. Hopefully by then we have been able to leave here and live on a nother planet.

My gosh, this 2012 is getting out of hand. The year will pass, and everyone will find another year to emphasize on the "end of the world". The 2012 came from the Mayans, who said that it'll be the end of the calendar. Literally. Which means, it just starts over. That's it.

And please don't make the Bible an excuse to use up more resources, just because you think the "end" is coming. Gosh, humans have been thinking the "end" is coming since humans have came into existence! Can't we relax, sit back, and drink an organic, locally-produced lemonade once in a while?

(1) Political turmoil over resources

(2) We're due for a meteor sometime!

(3) global warming

(4) after humans die, the earth will live, and.... the sun will grow into a red giant

(5) Andromeda galaxy will bump into ours, but not likely have any stars hit since they are so spaced apart.
