i am starting high school tomorrow, and i am taking advance english. the thing is, that i come from a middle school that is a under-performing school( dumb) we were always seen by the others schools as the dumb uneducated school, and the high school i am going to is named as an excelling school( extremely smart) by the state. so do you guys think it will be hard for me that i am moving from an under-performing school to an excelling high school?

PS= all the teachers there were very bad teachers, one of them had a baby so he took of for a month when he came back, he was always tires because his baby didnt let him sleep so he didnt have anything planned and another teacher gave up on the students because they behave bad so he would only teach me and my other friend but it was hard to learn because of the others students goofing around.

but i really want to learn, and i pay good attention and i was in honors.so maybe ill just have to work even harder to keep up with the others that didnt come from my school

  1. You may have a difficult time at first, but most teachers like to help kids who want help. So take the classes you want, but be sure to ask questions and communicate problems with your teachers. Make your situation known so that they can give you any extra help you might need. You'll catch up quickly if you want to work.

Many times, it's English grammar and composition that have suffered in poor schools. So if you have trouble with that, try to read a lot. Pick up some easier books at the library so you can get used to seeing good sentence structure and spelling. Reading a lot will help you more with English than almost anything else.

  2. Difficulty builds character, and if you  work instead of slacking off, you'll do fine. Take as many hard classes as you feel you can handle, you got to make up for the damage that was done in your old terrible school.

PS: It is so nice to see someone who appreciates a good education.
