How do you throw a four seam and two seam?

you throw them the exact same, the only thing that changes is the grip

two seam you put your fingers on and parallel with the laces where the laces come the closest to eachother. its called a 2 seam cause your fingers are touching two seams

four seam, you put your fingers across the horse shoe to where the laces touch your fingers in 4 places, hence the name "4 seam"

four seam should go faster and go straight when you pitch it, where a 2 seam is a little slower  and for a right should sink to the right (inside on right hander batters and away from left handed batters)

facing right handed batters- throw the 2 seam inside and 4 seam away

facing left handed- throw 4 seam inside and 2 seam away (the 2 seam should sink away from lefties)

learn the 4 seam, its the proper way to hold a ball when you are playing catch, or if you play a position then you want to throw a 4 seam because it goes straight. however the 2 seam should be your out pitch as it has movement

Two seam is holding to ball with two fingers on two seams. Four seam is throwing with your whole hand and throw hard.

I don't know about the finger position, but there's no age to throwing pitches. The pitch you should learn first is the two seamer. The two seamer fools pitches if you throw it right on the outside of the strike zone.
