How do you tie a wrap-over ballet skirt?

i have dance for the first time today and i cant figure out how to tie the wrap, it is bow in back or front

  1. take the two ends and cross them over to the back. tie it in a bow. that's how i did it for recital, but you can also just cross them at your side and tie them there! either way works!


  2. tying in the back is probably easiest

    Line up the center of the skirt with your spine.  The skirt should be at your waist or slightly below your waist.  above the hipbone.

    Cross the skirt over your front, bring the ribbons around and tie in back.

    You will probably get  some of the skirt caught in the ribbons, so get it all straightened and you are good to go.

  3. haha i remember when i was 9 and i couldn't figure that out!

    i ended up wearing pants!

    but okay the bow should go at the back i can't really explain it but if it helps look it up on google images just type  in ballet or something and someone should be wearing one.
