How do you time between feedings?

How do i determine how far apart the feedings are? I was told by one person that you time from when the feeding ends to when the next one begins and someone else told me from start to start... So now i am confused as to how far apart my daughter is eating!!! I hate being around other moms! Its so stressful sometimes.

im with bag on this, i feed my daughter whenever she's hungry!!! works a charm!

I feed mine when they are hungry. Works everytime.

You look at the clock when you begin the feed

I was the same i thought my son was eating every 3 hours as i was timing from the end of a feeding but i was told by my cliic nurse that you time from the beginning of the feeding

I dont bother timing now i let him go and just make sure that he has 6 bottles in 24 hours

He seems to go every four hours in the day on his own

it's when u start the feeding,say u start to feed ur baby at 3p.m. u count it from 3p..m.,and wait 3 hours if u formula feeding and 2 hours if u're breastfeeding and the bigger and older baby will be the more time u will have between feedings ,my baby is almost 5month and she take 6oz every 4 hours ..

  and oh god yes sometimes other mommies can shower u with the most unwanted and awful things they had with ur babies,sometimes i cry after talking to another mom who had  some"advice"to give me..not useful most of the times,just wanted to tell u that motherhood differs from one to another ,just relax u're gonna get the hang of being a mommy soon :) and gratz for having a lil princess of ur own:)
