How do you trace a person?

Can you give me some usefull websites and ways to track some one down.

  1. I use ZABASEARCH to find the address then find the county using Google. Then I got to the superior court records website for that county if it's online and search there. Then the library for the city directories for a history. I also use the living persons locator at Ancestry.com if they are living, if not then go down to the court with the case numbers from the court search. I get completely lost if I only have a maiden name, some others use the county marriage books to find a woman's married name. Knowing how to use Google effectively with boolean (AND, OR, NOT) searches is always a great tool.
