How do you track all the previous viewed documents from the com?

What if the folder "My Recent Documents" has gone missing?

Is there any other way to dig out all the recent documents viewed/modified?

  1. well i think you use make a short cut and use that some how or check your Recycle Bin if you deleted it on accident. I would look for a tutorial online


  2. Go to the history and click that....


  3. Depending on your version of Windows, do a folder search for "Recent."  Old Windows is C:\\Windows\Recent .  XP is C:\\Documents and Settings\[user]\My Recent Documents .  I don't know Vista, sorry.

    You can also right-click the start button, go to Properties, "Start Menu" tab, then Customize and clear out the recent documents if you're just interested in privacy.

  4. How about START --> Search --> Files and Folders  --->Documents.

    Should give you a list of all the Word, WordPerfect, etc docs on the pc.

  5. My Recent Documents shows all the things you've opened recently, word processor documents, audio files, movies, pictures etc.

    These things are still on your system in the directories or folders you saved them in.
