How do you train to run a marathon?

are there specific places i should go or just make a regiment or what?

  1. Run for about in hour twice a week. Ride bike on local trails for a few miles a couple days a week. Rollerblade around your town. Anything that makes your legs stronger and tougher.


  2. Basically, you need 18 weeks of training, plus whatever it takes you to be in decent shape to start.  The regimen depends on your goals and aspirations.
