  1. run run run!

work on starts and keeping great pace the whole race.

go running outside now since its summer.

    join cross country.

work on the track and do repeated 100, 200, and maybe 400s.

and work on making it the same pace on all them.

with long strides and hugging the inside line!

    good luck!

  2. I have ran 3 marathon in a row, all in less than 3.5 hours each. I sprint 500 meter dashes in 58 seconds. I would say to run longer distances, it will train your legs to work the muscles.

  3. There are SO many different ways.

  4. okay. here are my rules to running faster.

to run faster, you need stronger legs and fexability.

    1. run up steep hills. i suggest grassy hills, but only for ten seconds because you dont want a fast sprinter with a busted knee. run up the hill for ten seconds and then jog for a minute. then do the same thing over again. i usually do this sixteen times a day.

    2. go to the pool. run in the water. the resistence will help you run faster. the more resistent the water, the better chance you do on the track.

    3. stretch. try to do the splits. you need a better flexability inorder to get a farther stride.

    4. eat alot. especially before a meet. eat speghetti and such foods with much charbohydrates. this will help you when running.

    5. run long distances.if you are a sprinter, running long distances will help you. when you run long distances, you are able to maintain a good constant pace. then when you sprint, you can run even faster.

  5. Easy, just jog at least 5 miles a day 4 days a week for at least 7 weeks. With each week you should notice that your sprinting speed should increase a little bit. If you already do this, then double that. Not only should this increase speed, but also endurance and stanima. Remember, keep running.
