How do you transfer a recorded (camcorder) tape to a DVD?

I have a new camcorder that records on those little tiny VHS looking tapes and I need to have the video on DVD....how can I do this or is there a way

  2. 1) Import it using the DV port on the camcoder connected to the firewire port on your computer using a firewire cable. If you don't have a firewire port on your computer, add one. And buy a firewire cable.

    2) Using MovieMaker (Windows) or iMovie (Macintosh), import the video. Edit. Save the finished project.

    3) Use WinDVD (Windows) or iDVD (Macintosh) to render the DVD.
