How do you transfer recordings on from a DVR to DVD?

  1. You need a CD program such as Roxio..

    you'll have to play the full dvr  to do the transfer.    Roxio is best for Music transfers!

    It's terrible for word transfers  but you were asking about transfering recordings so Roxio is what you need!  For those that transfer word items  Nero is best for that!  Nero can be used for Music transfers but you'll get better results with Roxio!  Sometimes Roxio causes things to stick abit

    or computer to freeze for a bit but it usually undoes what it causes!  Nothings perfect or is there something that's perfect?


  2. Depending on what type of DVR you have, You can run RCA cables out from DVR to input on DVD burner. Unfortunately you will have to play the entire movie and record at the same time. As far as I know nobody has cracked the software to retrieve data off DVR hard drives. Even so, the way I explained will work.
