So our showchoir is putting fog in our opening number and it's great, but the only problem is that we take over 5 hour trips and we don't know how to get the ice through the whole day and 2 performances without traveling in an unfamiliar city looking for dry ice. So if anyone has ideas that would be great.

  1. I only know that you can buy a cooler packed with ice packs to keep the ice cold. If the ice packs defrost you can have another ice chest filled with alternate ice packs to switch and make sure the dry ice is cold at all times.

  2. i think with an ice chest

  3. Get a large cooler / ice chest and pack the dry ice blocks with a thin paper layer (butchers paper works well for this) wrapped around the individual blocks. The cold from each block and the closed/sealed chest should get you through (in fact this method often works for days not just hours)
