How do you trim songs on garageband for Mac?

I want to make a ringtone but I do not know how to trim certain parts of the song off. Easy 10 pts. to whom ever helps the most! Thank You!!!

If you choose "Send Ringtone to iTunes" option in the Share menu, you will get all the details, but in short, you have to create a loop that is less than 40 seconds long. If you choose to view your project in time mode by choosing "Time" from the blue box at the bottom, and then click on the loop tool to the right of the play button, you should be able to adjust which part of your song is looped.
