I went to state and nationals you need to be extraordinary to go to the olympics

If you are enquiring about the Bejing Olympics, I'm sorry, but believe you might be a little too late for trys outs

The best way is to join a local swim club and begin to get professional coaching.

You'll need to qualify for your country's olympic trials by hitting the trial qualifying times during the year previous to the Olympics.

During the trials you'll need to place in the top two in the trials finals to make the team. (The top 6 in the 100 and 200 freestyle will qualify you for the 4x100 and 4x200 free relays).
