How do you tune to drop B on a guitar?

how many steps do i tune down each string to get a drop B tuning? and i think a semitone is a half step am i rite? but all i need to know is how many steps to tune down each string. and if the E string needs to be tuned down more then 2 and a half steps i need to know how to do this without a tuner cus my tuner only goes down that far. thanks!!!!

    To tune the E down to B, tune it with the 2nd string of your guitar which is also a B note.


  2. Yes, a semitone is a half note.

    A tone is a full note.

    You want to tune your guitar down 5 semitones.

    Try googling an online tuner that goes down to B.

    Or play a B one the A string (2nd fret) and tune your E string to that.
