How do you turn Tamagochi V4 off?

im been tryibg to figure out it doesnt say on instrustions!

Tamagochi can't be turned off. Just take out the battery if you want it off permanently.

You can't turn it off, but you can pause it. Hold button A and button B(or C, I'm not sure) until the screen says 'PAUSE'. Hope I helped!

you can either pause it or reset it

or you can take out the batteries and when you input them again, click resume

you can't turn off a tamagotchi

because it is sort of like a pet  if you don't want your file anymore just reset it

When those were the brand new fad in the late 90's my friend's mum was faced with the same question and decided to put it in the freezer which seemed to stop it. I don't think my friend was very happy with the arrangement though.
