How do you turn a doorknob?

how do you turn a doorknob? with your left or right hand

I use both. usually right but i also use my left hand

Right hand but I have noticed I instinctively turn the k**b away from the jamb as if I am pulling back the bolt. So if the door k**b is on the left, I turn the k**b to the right; if the k**b is on the right, I turn it to the left.

As I get older I'm considering replacing k***s with handles you push down. Much easier on the fingers if you develop arthritis.

I usually tirn it with my right hand unless i have a bunch of stuff in my arms. then i turn it with which ever hand i can free up!
