How do you turn a regular pin into a heart shape?

i see some people have heart shape pins, i wonder how they do that

  2. Certainly it would be easy with a hair pin, using the base as the bottom of the heart, then spreading the pin and bend the ends over a sharpie pushing them together eventually.

       A Straight pin (Steel) might be more a challenge, and more fragile in the sense of how far it will tolerate being BENT.

       To actually make a hair pin into a piece of Jewelry that actually pinned to a garmet, you could use glue and decorate the hair pin with many craft type embellishments, then add a PIN purchased at a craft shop to the back of the hair pin heart.

       It might be tedious to wrap the heart shape in Red yarn, or try to glue sequins or beading to it. I suppose if you have a large enough hair pin you could add beads threaded onto it and bend the tops.

    Just my two "sense"
