How do you turn off the child lock on a vauxhall astra? the rear passenger doors have it but i dont need it!?

my car is vauxhall astra X reg

Open the rear door and on the open edge you see a little button if it's up push it down, if it's down push it up. Job done.

There should be a k**b with a slot in it,on the back of the open door near the latch plate. Using a key,rotate it,and it will lock or unlock,depending on where it is now.

1. open rear door.

2. slide level either up or down.
