How do you turn on the under wing courtesy lights on a cessna 172?

A cessna 172 has two outside under wing courtesy lights.

The switch location for these lights is not readily known.

I would like to know where these switches are.

sometimes the switch for those is on the aft doorpost.

It's the same switch that turns on the rear cabin lights it should be right above your head in the middle of the cabin.

You know, I never knew what those lights were. I always just used them during night landings so I would be more visible. Thanks for teling me what they really are. The switch is above your head. I thinks its the middle switch.
