How do you turn on the wireless on a dell inspiron 1525?

I have just ordered a Dell Inspiron 1525 and it has wifi built in but i was unsure how to turn on the wifi. Do i have to press a button or is the wifi always on...if im understood??

  1. there is a button on the left hand side of the laptop towards the back,i always leave mine on as i use a wireless router
