  1. it is all done by a virus.

virus use to control all this ,it make your computer to pop up a message at right corner of screen which tell you to update your xp

    so its fake.........

scan your computer with a good updated antivirus.

  2. Hi you may have may have one or two problems. It could be the security center of your security anti-virus software causing a conflict with the Microsoft security center or you have a spyware/virus preventing you from getting updates. If it a spyware issue i recommend a program called Malwarebytes Anti-malware 1.24.

  3. Go to Start > Control Panel > Automatic Updates > And configure to the way you desire.

No matter what though, you should get in the habit of going to Internet Explorer > Tools > Windows Updates at least on the First Tuesday of the Month.  First Tuesday is traditionally known to when MS pushes out all of the patches for the previous month.  This will make sure nothing is missing during automatic updates.  I also use this time to ensure I have the latest FireFox, Adobe, Office, and other software installed as they all have their own vulnerabilities.

That pop up usually comes up if there is an error in the installation of one of the MS patches.  You can review the error in event viewer, or run Windows Updates manually and it will show what might be the problem.

  4. it might be a fake alert also, scan you're computer

  5. Open My Computer, go to the security options and click on automatic updates. That,s it.

  6. Open Control panel/Security Centre.Configure Automatic up dates.
