How do you turn the volume completely off on a Palm Centro?

I normally keep my phone on vibrate, but it's pretty loud even then. Is there any way that I can turn the volume and vibrate off? I've tried, and it never seems to work.

Hey! i just got mine yesterday. :) hehe

ok so here's how i do it soo far. :D

1. Click on the "home " button.

2. Then you go to the "pref" icon. tap it.

3.Under General Tap "Sound and Alert"

4.Then where it says application it will say "ring tone or w/e" , click on the arrow and u will see about 5 categories.

5. To each category put 0 volume and no vibraiting.

6. Also to be extra sure, on top of the phone there is a volume or no volume button. Slide it to no Volume.
