I am working from home and the company wants you to have a seperate phone line with no features and since I have not gotten another phone line, I need to turn off my call waiting and turn it back on. Eventually I will get another line, I just can't do it right now.

  1. here we go!!

*72 Activate Call Forwarding  *73 DeActivate Call Forwarding

    for one time only...

*70 Call Waiting Disable (Per Call)

  2. what you want to do is not possible... the only way to turn your call waiting off is PER CALL, and that is when you are placing a call... this is used for dial up modems, etc, so that they will not be disconnected by the call waiting...

that is done by *70 before you place the call...

you will have to call your local phone provider and have them remove the call waiting from your line...

  3. Dial *70 and listen for a tone confirming the signals have been turned off. Place your call.

Call waiting service will be turned back on automatically once you hang-up.
