How do you un-lock the security code on a car radio?

Got a peugeot car radio. put the wrong security code in and it locked up. now l can't enter the write code. l've taken it out of the car,took the fuse out of the back of it, left it for some time, but when l put it back in, still locked on the wrong code. Anyone know how to un-lock it? ls putting it in the feezer a myth? Thanks all.

Maybe call the company you bought the car from?

Putting it in a freezer will kill it, if ice gets inside of it and it unfreezes the water will kill it.

So no. Back away from the freezer.
