  1. By holding your left hand out holding the ball take your right hand and make a fist then swing it and move your hand sightly before you hit it That what i did and i made it over all the time

  2. I wouldn't even recomend learning. In most leagues, underhand serving is illegal. Work on overhand serving and you should be fine.

  3. ok..so..ill go thru the steps.u put them all 2getha:

1)you bend over, holding the ball to your right w/ ur left hand(lefties-opposite)

2)step with the leg that is opposite of the hand that you will be hitting w/(so you can get more pwr. w/o hitting ur leg:))

3)while stepping, hit the ball with ur hand.it takes a while to get the power and strength to get it but good luck:)

ps-if u practice enough you will be able to place the ball on the court

    HAPPY SERVING:)

  4. take the ball If your left handed in your right hand and if your right handed hold in in your left then talk a step, with the leg thats on the same side of which you hold the ball so if your right handed step wid your left foot then open your palm and make contact wid the ball as you step :) hope i could help

  5. How I do serve it underhand is that i put the ball in my other hand i don't  serve with. then i let the ball drop as i swing my arm, and i hit it . but keep your forearm and hand facing up so its a flat surface to hit it with. that's how i serve underhand......GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

  6. I'm a volleyball player myself and yesterday i had a game. I scored quite a few points from serveing. For me i would give myself about three BIG steps before i step on the line. personally i go right, left then hit becuase it works best for me. I take my right step eyes on the ball, then take my left step as i bring my body up, i would swing my hands forward in contact with the ball. then hit it. Our coach told us to serve deep so i try to serve deep.  just practice. practice makes perfect !

  7. well start by placing your left front to your front and the right to the back. and if you are a lefty do the opposite. hold the ball with your left hand and then pull back your right hand and hit it. (lefty- opposite)

    * dont let the ball drop before you hit. its always in your palm*

  8. first face the net with you left shoulder,or right, then hold the ball in the finger tips of your hand.then make a fist, then hit the ball with the plam of your fist. and make sure the ball is waist  hiegh

  9. If your serve is going short, you may want to take a small step.  If it is going out in different directions, try not to step.

Instructions below are for a right handed server.  Change all of the rights and lefts if you are left handed.

    If you need the step:

start with your feet close together

take a step with your left foot, plant your right foot hard.  No step with your right foot.

You can not hit the ball directly out of your hand.  You will want to get as close as you can, but it is not legal to serve directly out of your hand.  I am not saying toss the ball.  I am suggesting that you hold the ball in front of your right shoulder and low.  When your right hand gets close, just move your left hand.  The ball should stay in the same place, just your hand moves out of the way.

If you do not need the step:

Start with your feet about shoulder width apart.

    Plant your right foot.

    Do the rest as above.

As Dan_Ye suggested.  If you have problems, start at the 10 foot line.  Once you get 5 serves over and then take one step back.  Get 5 serves over and so on until you are serving from the back line.

  10. If you are right-handed, place yourself behind the 30-ft line and your left foot closer to the 30-ft line. You may turn yourself by moving your feet later if you need to adjust your serving direction.

Hold the ball in your left hand, palm facing up, no toss. Swing your right arm backward, then forward with the same speed. Contact the ball with the heel of your right fist off your left hand, and follow through even after the ball leaves your left hand.

If you can't hit it over the net, try starting at the 10-ft line, and move back 5-ft after every ten good serves.

    Have fun playing volleyball.
