  1. Sometimes a stroke can cause brain damage to this effect. Otherwise, we're biologically hardwired for language acquisition and use.

  2. I don't think you can.  You might refuse to listen too and/or speak it, but to unlearn?  And to read meaning into everything that happens, is going to drive you crazy.

    Peace.

  3. Dunno

  4. I am not sure, I WANT TO KNOW ALSO!... i sometimes go crazy over small things when thinking about it.. that is really weird!

  5. Lately I've been trying not to think using words.  Words are purely for the benefit of others.  So why would we need them for our personal thoughts?  Try and sit there for 10 minutes and not let a single word enter your mind.

  6. i don't know for sure, but i would dry to say a word, and keep my mind blank and listen to the sound, not what it means. i've wanted to do this too and i've never really succeeded. good luck!

  7. Hear the voice of your internal manifestations of mind and convert them into sound equivalence. If you are sincere, no words will be formed.  Only Mantras with intense powers will be produced.  If it is sweet, it can attract even souls of the atoms, if it is not it can destroy the cosmos.  That is the power of soul and the sound of soul.  Language communicate the thoughts and minds at sensory level.  Beyond that is the communications from spirit.

  8. i lost all my language for one day in 1988

i didnt understand anything that was being said

    by anyone including myself

i remember making strange repetitive sounds

just to hear myself and wonder

after several hours i could understand other people

but i couldnt think in words, let alone enunciate any.

much later i could think of what i wanted to say, but

i did not have the wherewithal  to form or speak the words.

this episodic adventure was a direct result of

my ingestion of 500mcs of LSD

i dont recommend that route to anyone,

but i could relate to the question, so i thought i would share

  9. G They are agreed on associations and imitations of real events.

  10. Sadly, it is often through a tumour or other damage to the brain, and it is much worse if you realise it is happening to you.
