How do you unlock ringtones on the latest sprint palm centro?

i bought my palm centro about a week ago and i've two problems with it:

1. i want to transfer ringtones via bluetooth but can't do it because they're locked! how can i unlock them?

2. whenever i get ringtones transfered to my phone via bluetooth they come in as mp3's (i assume this is the format all ringtones play in). however, they do not appear on the list of ringtones so i can set them up. where did my file go? what's the folder called? and how can i move the file so i can use it as ringtone?
