How do you unlock rinks and teams in NHL 2k7

Go to they skybox, go to the wall on the right hand side (the one with out the trophies) you will see a bunch of shelves, those shelves hold the unlockables.  You get the points to unlock them by completing challenges in the game like completing ten passes in a row, having one of your players be player of the game and so on.
