  1. Dan P,

I would get hacksaw blade out cut slot in head and then use a s***w driver

  2. Sawsall.......visegrips or drill motor and drill bit and bore head off........grinder and grind head off........that's fast.

  3. hacksaw would work but they sell those screwdrivers at homedepot now

  4. Use a drill and drill the head off.

  5. they make specialized bits to get those annoying screws out

  6. yes I'd use a drill and do it in reverse to try and remove the screws.  If that doesn't work, try a saws-all, if you can get between the door and the screen.  Hope it works!

  7. You can use a thing called an Ez-Out. They sell them in hardware and auto parts stores.

Basically, you drill a small hole in the s***w then tap in the Ez-Out which can then get a grip so you can back out the s***w.

  8. Here's your answer... and it's so simple you won't believe it!!!  Hold an ice cube on the head of the s***w.  As the metal s***w gets cold, it will contract.  When it contracts, it will  not be as tight in the hole and you should be ale to loosen it.  If for some reason, it doesn't work, add a drop of lubricant to the area and then try the same thing again.

Good luck!  I hope this works for you... it's a carpenters secret!  Let me know !
