How do you unzip files using winrar?

I downloaded photoshop then it said that it needed to be extracted so i also download winrar. I extracted photoshop and then it became a folder. I could open the folder but photoshop would not work. What do i do now? Any help please. ASAP!

Look inside the folder for text files (like readme.txt, info.txt, etc.). Open and read those text files (they may contain some information or special instructions for installing the software). If there are none, then look for any .exe file (install.exe, setup.exe, etc.). The .exe file is normally a setup program or installer program that contains the Setup Wizard or Installshield program that will take you to the installation steps of the software. Simply run the .exe file by double-clicking on it.

You have to install photoshop..winrar just decompresses and extracts the .exe files and what not.. Look for the setup icon (or .exe file) in the folder you extracted photoshop too. Double click to install it.
