  1. you have to buy it but you will regret it if you buy it because vista is rubbish. xp is much better.

  2. ...of course you can always make a real OS upgrade and move to Linux...

    Think about it... ;-)

  3. What your asking is how to steal software which is illegal.

You BUY the Vista upgrade CD of your choice and install from that.

  4. you can buy it for around £150 or $300

don't download it, it will simply cause trouble

  5. Wait a few years and then maybe Mr Gates and co will give it to you as a gift , a memory of past a OS

  6. It's a scam. you can't.

If you happen to, it's against the law and you can get fined up to $20,00.

  7. It will not work how ever you download because it has to be authorised, Go and Buy Windows Vista, it is far better than XP, thew people who say it is not not are just to tight to buy a copy, watch them all cry when XP is not supported after 2010.

How ever make sure you get 64 bit Vista with a minimum of 4 gb of memory, if you have a 32 bit machine  then you will have to settle for the 32 bit versions of Vista but only increase your memory up to 3GB

  8. Legally, you can't but most of the times it's scam anyway.

    Hope this helps.

    Dan

  9. You can't, end of.

If there is a way, it's definitely illegal.

The Youtube video was 99% likely to be a scam.

To upgrade XP to Vista, you have to purchase an upgrade pack from Microsoft or another licensed distributor.

  10. Two words that don't belong in the same sentence; microsoft, free.

  11. You can't. You have to buy it or break the law.

  12. You can't legally do it. They used to offer a 12 month license when Vista was Beta, but not anymore. You have to buy it.

  13. the problem is not if you can or cannot. the problem is that the XP memory is insufficient, drivers non-existent,hardware problems, yada, yada, yada!

never knew an "upgrade" that didn't have SIGNIFICANT problems later and LOTS of regrets later
