How do you upload a recorded video from your camera onto the computer? I WILL choose best Answer?

Hi,

I have the Sony DVD handycam (standard Definition) and I wanted to know how exaclty I could put this recording onto my computer to edit with movie maker etc. Any ideas?

  1. make a new file in my documents plug in your camera drag a drop the video file into the new file and then go into windows movie maker and say add media then browse to your file that you have made and then click on the video and then say open then it sould be on windows movie maker


  2. If it doesn't have Firewire or USB for data transfer then you have to finalise the mini DVD and put *that* in your computer.

  3. wmmaker does not support dvd .vob or .vro files

    - download and OPEN Prism or Kate's video converter (free)

    - insert finalized dvd disk to pc dvd drive

    - add your .vob files from dvd folder Video_TS to video converter

    - select for output .avi (if your have enough hddisk space) or .wmv (highest resolution) & save to pc folder

    - import converted video file to wmmaker video editor
