How do you upload an 8 minute video to youtube?

So i wanted to upload a video thats a little longer than 8 minutes to youtube, but it said that it cant be 8 minutes...? is there a special way to upload a video that can be over 8 minutes? please help!

well...u can try making a video again longer than eight minutes...maybe windows movie maker will work...which one do u go on to upload videos...first tell me tht....otherwise...find pictures or mixed video(whichever one u do) and make the timeline longer according to windows movie maker....stretch the timeling...and add a song to it...:D

Actually, it can be longer than 8 minutes. YouTube only allows users to upload videos that are 1024 MB and 10 minutes long.

If your video exceeds 10 minutes or the size is larger than 1024 MB it won't upload.

YouTube partners however can upload any video no matter how large or long.

youtube will not accept file exceeding 100 MB and 10 minutes, you need to split it and upload separately in series...

--for editing and splitting of video....

moviemaker can help you split it and also edit it.

windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv file format... finally upload.

or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces....

this will help you.... Use 'zillatube'. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.

Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.

It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker... save your file as wmv and then upload.
