I want to Use AIM, it is like instant messaging. I have no idea how to use it. Will random people just contact you?

AIM is an instant messaging service,just go to aim.com and download the service. There's a few different ones,chose which ever you want and works for your computer,then set up your screen name. When you first download it there should be a set up your screen name link,but if not,just go on the website and you can. And no,random people wont,there's always spammer's with any IM service,but just exit out of the instant message and if you want,block the screen name

Right click contacts, and hit add new buddy.
