How do you use OpenSSH to run programs on the host PC?

Ive got OpenSSH installed and configured properly, but whenever i try to get windows media player running on the remote host i dont get anything ( the command i type in is > start wmplayer.exe) i am using Windows XP and OpenSSH for both client and server.

I believe the correct command would be C:> wmplayer.exe

Not that it means a great deal because you will not be able to see anything from the remote machine. SSH is text only

Try this

Install one of the VNC programs (UltraVNC or Tight VNC) on the machines

Install VNC server as a service on the machine you want to access

Use VNC Viewer on the machine you are using

Start VNC Viewer

Answer the password prompt

You are in and can see the desktop of the remote machine

Now start Wmedia player normaly by clicking on the icon

Whatever happens on the remote desktop you can see and control
