How do you use YA properly?

Question

My son gave me his old lap top and set me up with a few things he also said to try Yahoo Ask. I signed up and love the contact with other people and i hope at times i've helped someone with an answer,but i'm sure i'm not doing everything that is available to me I would have liked to answer Scotty in return for the conern shown in respect of one of my answers but i don't know how.
