How do you use a Combination lock??? (HELP)?

I just started 7th grade and i cant open my locker and my gym locker i always need a friend or a teacher to open it. how do you use it?

so first, turn the lock around clockwise fast for 3 times to reset. then start to turn the lock clockwise until you stop at your first number. then turn it counterclockwise and stop at your second number. finally, turn it clockwise again and stop at the third number. open your lock.

I am a freshman at HS now and I have trouble too. but I kinda got the hang of it...

- go to the 1st # going right.

- then to next going left, pass the zero once.

- go to the last # going right.

Turn your lock to the right 3 times. This is called "zeroing it out." Have it stop at zero. Then go the the right to your first number. Do one full spin  "Pass the number, then continue and stop at it." Towards the left. Then going right go to your last number.

What kind of combination lock is it?

If it's the lock with the dial, turn three times left until you reach your first number, then turn right once over 0 to your second number, then lurn left to your third number but not over zero!

First.. clear the lock [spin it clockwise a whole bunch of times(like 3)]

then... go to your first number (turning the dial clockwise)....lets say it was 18

then... turn the lock counter-clockwise and pass ur 2nd number once (lets say it was 37) so u pass 37 once and continue spinning it counter clockwise until u get to it again...

then... turn the dial clockwise again and go to ur next number (lets say its 28) go to 28... (do not pass it)

that should open ur lock

Go and stop on first number, go left past 2nd number once then stop on 2nd number, go right and stop on third number without passing it.

first turn it clockwise about two times to like start  a new thing. if you dont turn it it probably wqont work because it will add the previous number to it. soo just turn the lock a couple of times clockwise to clear it. then turn the lock clockwise to your first number. after you put in your first number turn  the lock counter clock wise untill you pass the number you just turned.  keep on turning it untill you get to your second number. once you put in your second number turn the lock clockwise again, but this time instead of passing the number like you did with the second one just go straight to your last number
