How do you use a thing on the Sims 2 called Body Shop? is there an add on? I have the High fashion pack,etc?

i have the high fashion pack, the Sims 2 i have is the 3 disk package. It's the Sims 2 Deluxe. Is this version of the Sims 2 acceptable? or do i need the original Sims 2, the one i have has the Sims 2 nightlife added to it, and the shopping malls. I heard abo0ut the Sims 2 Body Shop? and that i might need a Paint Pro Shop? I'm clueless here, LOL.

I bought it for my daughters, they wanna design their clothes and hair and stuff. So, i'm desperate for help. any help thank you very much.

you should be able to open up body shop by going to start>programs>eagames>sims2>bodyshop.

if you want to design clothes and stuff, then you will need a really good paint program. paint shop pro would work. i use "g.i.m.p" which is a really good and free paint program that gets the job done.

well i was also confused at body shop when i encountered it, but once you know where to go it's easy! go to my computer

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Projects

if you go there you can find the new projects you started and named in body shop, it should show a file with the project name you typed in, if you enter that folder depending on the item, like if you wanted to cutamize hair they shoulcustomizebout 109 objects, but if you are costimazing customizing something like a shirt or even an outfit, there should be about 3-5 objects in the fiolder. they are flattened images of the object, the black and white one is the form of the object, like say i wanted a short sleve shirt on a long sleave shirt. i would take it in paint, and black out some of the sleave part.

the colored part get's tricky though, if you want it to be realistic i do sugest some kind of progam that can edit good. it all is a trail and error sort thing.
