How do you use an action replay code on pokemon diamond?

I have no clue where to go to put them in or how

to use the AR put it in then activate the codes then take out the AR and put diamond in then press start game

TO USE ACTION REPLAY: First put your action replay in your DS and start the power. It will say This software is not licensed by Nintendo. Don't worry about that, after a few seconds you'll go to the action replay screen. Now take your action replay out of your DS and put in your game. Your DS will not crash. Then click the green circle and choose the cheat you want.

TO ADD CODES: First connect your Action Replay (while inside your DS and running) to the computer with the USB it came with. Then a message will pop up and ask you to put the Disk in which came with the action replay. Then install it. Then start up the code manager on the computer. After, press the upgrade software which is located in the top right corner of the manager. Then drag a game from my Subscriptions to my code lists. Open the game that you want and right click near it and press New Cheat. You can find the codes from many Websites. If your still stuck click this guilde below

AR stick it into the "gamboy color" game slot or DS slot. I only have Gameboy SP i used to play and had that. Then start and look on internet for all the codes.
