How do you use call waiting?

I know I sound like an idiot, but how does call waiting work?

If you're already on the phone and someone else is trying to call at the same time u will hear a beep.  Push the flash button on your phone and it will switch over to the other caller.  Hope this helps!

If your talking about a cell phone, it would first need the feature.

Then it happens on it's own, the phone would beep to notify you that you have a "call waiting"

Then you should have options on the menu to answer and such.

If its a home phone, you usually just tap the flash or hang-up button once really quick.
