How do you use eyeliner?

Hi, I no your like omg you don't no how to use it but I never weared make up before but I'm trying something new on my style i need a little change so how do you use it and what color makes you look hot but not girly?

use a charcoal gray, it would help if we knew your eye color, grey looks good with all eyes or a plum is nice aws well.  You should not get liquid as it can be tricky.  Just make tiny dots as close to your you upper lash line as possible and then you can blend with a brush or qtip, you can wing out a little in the corner to make your eyes more sultry.  You can leave the bottom unlined or line above your lashes, this is easy but if you have sensitive eyes don't, it will make them water!

If you're a beginner in regard to wearing eyeliner, start out with a simple eyeliner pencil, eventually as you get better at applying, start using liquid eyeliner for longevity and pop.

as for colors, jet black is a pretty solid color to use but after a while, that gets old. Some of the cooler less girly colors that i use are turquoise, lime green, and red. When using those colors, apply on the outside of your eyes to create the illusion of bigger brighter eyes. You can find colors like that basically anywhere.

no matter what color you use, always take the pencil and make a line ABOVE your upper lash line and don't make it too thick but don't make it too thin either. the line is effective in opening your eyes.

next take the pencil and line it right INTO your lower lashes and smudge a little with a q-tip. This is really basic beautiful look that doesn't look emo or scene or whatever but it's not too natural and boring either.

mayballne (sp?) unstoppable cappachino or mocha, somethin like that. and you can put it on under your bottom lashes or along the inner low line of your eye lid.

There are three types of eyeliner: powder, pencil, and liquid.  Liquid gives a high degree of precision, but is more dramatic in its effect than the other two types.  You might want to try the pencil eyeliner first, and then move to one of the other two if you like.

Eyeliner color you might want to pick (make sure your liner complements the color of your eye shadow):

* Light eyes - Brown, navy and charcoal

* Green eyes - Taupe and deep green

* Brown eyes - Brown, plum shades, sandy taupes

How to Apply:

* If you're using powder, apply a small amount of water to the brush before dipping it in the powder.  If you're using a pencil, make sure it is sharpened or sharp.  Hold both like a pencil.

* Tip your head back slightly and look down at the mirror.

* Close your eyes half way.

* You can start from the outside in, or inside out.  However, do not line all the way to the inside of your eyes.  The eyeliner should cover only two-thirds of your eye from the outside to the inside.

* If you're using liquid liner, allow it to dry before opening your eyes all the way, or the color may transfer into the crease of your eye.

* If you used a brush or a pencil, soften the look by gently smudging the line with your brush, a cotton swab or your finger.

ok so for eyeliner go to walgreen's and the brand is isadora the color is glitzy black and to apply put onto the lid on the bottom of your eye's like pull down your eyelid and gently apply, and for the top close your eyelid and apply
