How do you use honey to help clean your face?

i hear that honey can help clear up your skin. how do you use it? do you just heat up and put it on or is it more complex? how do you apply it on your face and what do you use? thank you in advance. ;]

Honey is a great moisturizer--I've actually used it a few times, and I think that it works quite well. The first time that I used it, I used it room temperature straight out of the jar and just left it on my face for about 20 minutes before washing it off. It really made my skin feel soft, but the only drawback was that it was messy, since honey gets more runny as the warms up while it's on your face; I had to keep wiping it so that it wouldn't get in my eyes.

I've also used it as an ingredient in homemade facial masks. You can make a mask out of a whipped egg white, a teaspoon of honey, and a dash of lemon juice. Once the ingredients are mixed together, you just apply it to your face and let it dry for 20 minutes. After that, remove it with cool water. The egg white is to tighten the pores, and it's really good if you have oily skin. The honey will act as a moisturizer, and the lemon juice acts as an astringent, so it removes oils that could cause pimples.

If you don't have oily skin, you can make a moisturizing egg mask by using just the egg yoke mixed with a teaspoon of honey. Again, you just let it dry on your face for 20 minutes before rinsing it off.

You can also make a mask that has the combined properties of the last two recipes by using the whole egg, a teaspoon of honey and a dash of lemon juice. Again you let it dry for 20 minutes.

put it on your face as a mask leave it on for 1/2 an hour and it leaves ur skin soft and clearer by the next day
