How do you use self timer w/ a Kodak Easy Share Camera?

1. Turn on the camera

2. Press the menu button. (It is next to the screen on the lower left.)

3. A blue menu will come up. The first option that is highlighted says OFF and has sort of a circle with a line through it. Select that by pressing the OK button. (In the center of the circular button on the right side.

4. You will then have a choice of 2 seconds, 10 seconds, Off, or 2 shot. Scroll up or down using the circular button on the right and select which one you want and press OK.

5. Now first menu screen will come up and it will say whatever you chose (i.e. 2 seconds). Press the Menu button again to exit out of the menu to take a picture.

6. On the top of the display screen you will see the little circle with a number next to it to tell you that it's indeed on.

7. Now you can take the picture with the timer. Press the button that you use to take a picture (on the top) and little red light will turn on and there will be some beeps. When the beeps get faster that means the picture is about to take.

It sucks that they didn't write how to do self-timer in the manual. It took me a while to figure out lol.

Note: After you take a picture with the self-timer you have to go back and select a timer and everything all over again. It only lasts 1 picture at a time.

i have that same exact camera! you press menu in anything besides favorites and review. in the menu you will see a power sign and the word 'OFF' press ok on that and then you will see a couple selections to choose from- 2 seconds, 10 seconds, off, or 2 shot. hopefully it helped!

It will set up like this:

1 Press the Menu button.

2 Press the up down arrows and navigate to the selftimer.

3 Highlight the self timer, then press OK.

4 Choose the amount of time.

5 Press the Menu button to exit the menu.
