How do you use soft subs with Asian dramas?

I downloaded Mars from silentregrets (have also used cHinKy's) but half of the episodes are softsubbed. As I can't find the episodes hardsubbed I don't know how to connect the subs with the episode.

The subs are with the zipped file as an .srt file. How can I watch it?

Also, is there any way to perman' connect them? If not, anyone know where I can download this series?

Sorry I cant tell you how to change soft subs to hard subs connect them permanently but to play a video with soft subs you can download a program called Gom Player it is a really good media player and it has a feature that will allow you to search for the srt files and will sync them with the show. It also as a lot of other features that will allow you to adjust the sound video aspect ratio and speed up or slow down the syncing of the subs to the video.
