I don't know how to use star 67, so it blocks your phone number. Can someone explain this to me? Thanks.

  1. you type in *67 then the number that u are trying to block and it will show ur # as block or private call. but some people prevent u from blocking their numbers and if they do u will hear a message when u try *67 that says they dont allow callers w/blocked number and then u have to hang up and call with out *67! good luck, and do prank call too many people :-)

  2. when u dial the #, you cant use it by contact list. dial *67 then the number including the area code Ex. *678185555555

    *67-818-555-5555

  3. simply press *67 before dialing a number. It will then block your number from showing to the number you're calling to. Simple as that.

If you want to trace your last caller if it happens that you have no caller ID...then press *69. But using *69 will charge you 50 cents or 75 cents I guess. i'm not sure how much it chrges already but I'm sure it cost you a bit.

  4. plress *67 before dial the #

  5. dial *67 (or 1167 if you don't have a * key on your phone), then dial the phone number as you normally would.

  6. Normally, all telephone calls are accompanied by the identifying telephone number of the originating call, or caller.

People who have subscribed to CallerID service with their phone service will normally be able to see the CallerID number of the party calling them.

If you don't want the party you are calling to see your CallerID of the phone you are calling from, then use *67 to block the transmission of your phone number before placing a call.  *67 blocks on a per call basis, only.
