How do you use tabs on Firefox?

I just downloaded Firefox and I don't know how to open new tabs when I first open firefox. There isn't any button that says "Open new tab" so I'm not quite sure what to do. Anyone know how?

File -> New Tab or just press Ctrl + T.

Press the shortcut Ctrl+T. This will open up a new tab. Alternatives for this shortcut would be going to File > New tab.

If you need a button you can simply right click on the Navigation toolbar (where the URL bar is), select "Customize". Now drag the "New Tab" button onto the URL bar or whereever you want it. Now close the window with 'close' and you have a button for a new tab.
