How do you use the French press pot-e.g.INOX or...

I am having problems with how to use the INOX 18-10 pot I inherited. I know how to use simple espresso pots with no problems, but this I am having problems with. Where do I put the little presser?Thanks. Please e-mail me any instructions.Thank you- pattycf@msn.com
